If you are considering the BSc degree scheme offered by OBU through studying ACCA qualification, you are suggested to have a thorough understanding of all steps to be eligible.
1. Registration with OBU
To be eligible for the degree, first of all, you are required to be registered with OBU before passing any of the three ACCA Fundamentals papers F7, F8 and F9. If you hold exemptions for any of Papers F7, F8 or F9, you may contact ACCA to forfeit these in order to remain eligible. If you have already passed any of Papers F7, F8 or F9, then unfortunately it is now too late to opt back into the degree program.
2. English Language
Next, you hold a recognized English language qualification certificate and transcript, which must be submitted to and approved by ACCA, before passing any of papers F7, F8 or F9.
Proof of English proficiency still continue to be administrated by ACCA, for details, please refer –
3. Passing F7, F8 and F9
The third step for you is to pass 3 ACCA Fundamental papers F7, F8 and F9 and pass (or gain exemption from) other papers as required to successfully complete all 9 Fundamental level papers at least 2 months prior to the start of the submission period in which you are seeking to submit.
4. ACCA Ethics and Professional Module
Then, you have to complete the ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills module by the published deadline before submitting a Research and Analysis Project to OBU.
5. Research and Analysis Project
The final step is to complete and pass the OBU Research and Analysis Project (RAP).
As you see the steps above, it’s wise to plan ahead to be eligible in the degree program and avoid any unfortunate incident happened for not complying.
